Ankle Boots

Ankle boots are the shoe most women actually wear from October onwards, and this is the largest group in the Lavinem footwear range. They are gathered here because the shape does something the others do not: it covers the ankle without committing you to a knee-high, so it works with trousers, a midi skirt and everything between.

The selection splits three ways. Block-heel boots give height with a base wide enough to walk on, which is the whole point of a block over a stiletto. Flat and low-heel styles are for the days that involve real distance. Fleece-lined and slip-resistant pairs handle cold, wet sidewalks, where a smooth sole is a genuine hazard rather than a minor annoyance.

Several have a contoured footbed. We describe that as orthopedic-style, meaning cushioned and shaped for everyday comfort; it is not a medical device and not a substitute for an orthotic your podiatrist prescribed.

US sizes run from 5 to 12 depending on the style, and the exact run is in the selector on every product page. If you fit wide, take the larger of two sizes. Free tracked shipping on all US orders and 30 days to return.
