1. Information we collect
- Device information — browser type, IP address, time zone, cookies, the pages you view and how you interact with the site. Collected automatically via cookies, log files and web beacons.
- Order information — name, billing address, shipping address, payment details (processed by our payment provider, never stored on our servers), email address and phone number.
- Support information — anything you send us by email or through a contact form.
2. How we use it
- To fulfill orders: process payment, arrange shipping, send order confirmations and tracking
- To communicate with you and provide customer support
- To screen orders for fraud and risk
- To improve the site and, where you have consented, to show relevant advertising
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
As a Netherlands-registered company we process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (orders), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, site improvement), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
4. Sharing
We share personal information with service providers who help us run the business: Shopify (our ecommerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, and analytics providers. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. International transfers
Because we operate from the Netherlands and serve customers in the United States, your data may be transferred between the EU and the US. Such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
6. Retention
We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (7 years under Dutch law). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request data portability. Email info@lavinem.com. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise any of these rights, email info@lavinem.com. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the cart and checkout, and — with your consent — analytics and advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Do Not Track
We do not alter our data collection practices in response to a Do Not Track browser signal.

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
