Between two sizes? On closed styles — boots, loafers, sneakers, walking shoes — take the larger size. On open sandals take the smaller one, so your foot does not sit over the edge.

Men’s and women’s scales are different. A men’s 9 is not a women’s 9 — match on foot length, not on the number.
How to measure
Your foot
- Put a sheet of paper flat against a wall and stand on it, heel touching the wall.
- Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe — that is not always the big toe.
- Measure from the wall edge of the paper to the mark.
- Measure both feet and use the larger one.
- Do it at the end of the day, when your feet are at their widest.
Your body
- Bust or chest — around the fullest part, tape level all the way round and not pulled tight.
- Waist — around the narrowest part of your natural waist, above the navel.
- Hip — around the fullest part, roughly 8 in (20 cm) below the waist.
Measure over underwear or a thin top, not over a jumper. Keep the tape snug enough to stay in place but loose enough to slide a finger under.

The cardigan has a relaxed shape with room through the body and sleeves. It sits at the hips, with ribbed edging at the cuffs and hem. The button front allows the fit to be worn closed or open over other layers. Select your usual size and check the size guide for measurements.
Styling & Occasion
Wear it buttoned with wide-leg trousers or jeans for an everyday outfit. It can also be layered over a plain top for casual autumn walks, weekend plans and relaxed work settings. The shirt collar adds a defined finish when worn under a jacket or coat.
